Railway Museum Photo Walk

Steve Hiscock has arranged a photo walk at the Saskatchewan Railway Museum for Monday July 21 at 7-9pm. They will have a volunteer to let us in and out. This is an outdoor museum, so if it’s raining, I have arrange an alternate date of Monday July 28, same time.

They are located south west of Saskatoon on the Pike Lake Highway, two kilometers off the highway to Calgary on Highway 60. Google Maps Link

There is an admission fee. The regular fee is $10.00 per person, but we have a special rate of $6.00 each.
The museum has a variety of very photogenic buildings, stations, old rolling stock, locomotive, Snow plows, streetcars and more!
I think it would help the museum out if every one sent them one or two of your favourite images from the shoot.
Visitors may climb on the trains and enter the railway buildings, but as the museum is a former railway siding, some exhibits are less accessible than others.
Please Note: the museum is a industrial site. Visitors are advised to wear appropriate clothing, including footwear, for such a site. I have always worn runners, but I would not wear open toed shoes! Wheelchair and scooter access is limited.
Further note: the gophers have joined them for the summer. Watch for gopher holes!
