Annual General Meeting and Planning Session

The Year End Banquet will be held at Smiley’s Buffet [702 Circle Drive North] on May 5th. Melissa will be selling tickets at Tuesdays meeting for $45/ticket [cash only]. You can also go to Eventbrite Banquet Link and purchase your tickets there. Saturday May 23rd, 10am to Noon. Meet just outside the Meewasin Valley Authority Building (402 3 Ave S). London Drugs will be bringing lenses for attendees to try on their camera bodies (if we could find out what mounts people use and lenses they’d like to try, that will help me narrow down what to bring).

Wednesday May 27th with Daniel from Sigma Canada – 6pm to 8pm – meeting point will be outside the main entrance to the Nutrien Wonderhub, from there will we walk to the Wier/CP Rail bridge to photograph the pelicans with telephoto lenses that Daniel will bring (he’ll bring as much as he can, but can’t confirm availability for every lens mount system).
