Tuesday June 8th at 7:00 PM — Patterson Garden arboretum

Patterson garden contains one of the most diverse collections of trees, shrubs, and vines in the
Prairie Provinces, approximately 800 in all. It is frequently used for portrait photo sessions.

Friday June 25th at 7:00 PM and Saturday June 26th at 8:00 AM — Northeast Swale
Location: RR 3050 north of Fedoruk Road

The Northeast Swale is a native prairie with wetlands, a wildlife and bird haven.

Saturday July 10th at 6:00 AM and 6:30 PM — Morning light and evening light
Location: Donna Birkmaier Park
Contact: Mary Lou Fletcher
Join us in the morning as the sun rises over the park, or in the evening for sunset light, or both.
There is a pond and naturalized areas, the bike trails are open, and there are lots of people
making use of the park for sports.
Saturday July 24th at 10:00 AM — Wanuskewin Heritage Park
Location: Access off of Wanuskewin Road just south of Highway 11

Wanuskewin is a unique site that interprets over 6,000 years of Northern Plains Indigenous
Culture. There are opportunities here for landscape, wildlife, abstract, architecture, and possibly
action photography if you take in a dance presentation later in the day. Note that there is an
admission fee.

August 17th at 7:00 PM — Saskatoon Zoo and Forestry Farm
Location: Forestry Farm Park Road; meet at zoo parking lot

This is a visit to the zoo, or to photograph the gardens, butterfly house, etc.
