Patterson garden contains one of the most diverse collections of trees, shrubs, and vines in the Prairie Provinces, approximately 800 in all. It is frequently used for portrait photo sessions.

Saturday June 15th at 8:30 AM — Pink Cadillacs model shoot

Camera Club members will have the opportunity to photograph inside Pink Cadillacs Restaurant on Saturday, June 15th. Pink Cadillacs is a trendy diner with a ‘50s vibe. We will have access to the restaurant before it opens from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. There is lots of ‘50s memorabilia and décor to photograph. The waitresses are also willing to be part of any photograph you may take. In addition, Ken Greenhorn has put out a call for models. There is no cost for the outing but sharing some photos with the models we get, and the restaurant owner is appreciated. Some of us plan to stay for breakfast after the shoot. Hope you can join us!

The gardens are beautiful as well as the fruit tree lane. There is a pond to play with reflections and beautiful reflective windows to make some interesting shots.

Tuesday July 23rd at 7:00 PM — Saskatoon Zoo and Forestry Farm

Saturday July 27th at 1:00 PM — Scavenger Hunt
Location: 1302 Ave J North

Join us in a hunt to figure out and capture as many of the clues as you can before your time runs out, and then gather after to see what everybody else found. Sign up either as a team or individually and we will arrange teams for you.
Friday August 23rd/Saturday August 24th — Outlook CCA Riverbank Rodeo
Location: South of LCBI High School

The Canadian Cowboys Association rodeo will be in Outlook for its second year, and they are rolling out the welcome mat for us. They are planning to set up a photo booth for us to display and sell our photos. More information will be available closer to the event date.

Tuesday August 27th at 7:00 PM — Light painting / fire spinning
Location: Chief Whitecap park

Light up the night this evening with flashlights, sparklers, glow sticks, steel wool, or anything else you can think up. Sunset will be at 8:05 and twilight after 8:45.
