April 28 – Summer Fun Planning night. Informal meeting to organize possible photo shoots for the summer. Bring guides, maps and ideas. Sunday May 3rd TRANSPARENCY BATTLE Place: Mendel Time: Registration 1:00, Program at 1:30 6 other clubs will send members. Good chance to meet new people. Need: we need dainties etc for afternoon coffee. Sign up sheet available on Tuesday or contact Valerie Ellis or Helen Brown. Saskatoon started this slide Battle in 1970. This will be THE FI NAL BATTLE as we are going to shut it down. Don’t miss it! Year end OPEN, PORTRAIT and CREATIVE prints will be on display so show others some of our work. May 5 – AWARDS NIGHT See who wins and pick up all your prints and slides or have someone do it for you. Last chance to see the prints, digital projected and slides. If we cannot get through all this we may have to save the digital projected for the Potluck. May 12- POTLUCK SUPPER THIS IS NOT AT THE MENDEL!PLACE: Christ Church Anglican at 515 28th St. W. Mike Zuffellato presented some of his favorite prints and had a slide show of photos featuring photos from Canada, Singapore and Malaysia. He also compared the quality of film, digital and medium format cameras including the Mamiya 7, Mamiya 645, Nikon D80 and Nikon F601.
