The Saskatoon Camera Club Summer Fun schedule for the summer:
June
Sunday, June 14th, 1pm: Shooting and presentation at the home of the late photographer Courtney Milne. Sherrill Miller will have a special presentation at 2pm. Bring your walking shoes to shoot the property which includes many trails over the 80 acres. Meet at the West side Walmart parking lot near Subway [map]. Leader: TBA
Tuesday, June 23rd, 7pm: Downtown Saskatoon Shoot. Meet at the Bay Parking Lot and take a photo walk through the heart of Saskatoon. Leader: Stephen Nicholson
July
Tuesday, July 7th, 7pm: Sutherland Beach Dog Park. Park at the area Northeast of the North Circle Drive bridge and follow the trails to the South Saskatchewan River [map] . Leader: Karen Pidskalny.
Tuesday, July 21st, 6:30pm: Live shoot with Models. We will be meeting at Cranberry Flats located South of Saskatoon [map]. Leader: Jamie Cleveland.
August
Tuesday, August 25th, 7pm: Meewasin Northeast Swale. Shoot one of the largest pieces of unbroken prairie, riparian, forest, wetland in the Saskatoon region. Meet at the Saskatoon Wildlife Federation [map]. Leader: Gerald Hammerling
Saturday, August 29th, 1pm: Scavenger Hunt. We will be put into teams with clues to the photos that we have to shoot throughout the day. Meet at 942 Laycoe Crescent [map]. Leaders: Karen Pidskalny & Jannik Plaetner
Rainy Day Alternative
We will meet at the Western Development Museum if we get rained out.
