Introduction of Board Members Information about club activities such as: clinics, critiques, competitions, judging, special interest groups (SIG), and Fall Field trip. There will be a presentation by Barry Singer on “My Covid Learnings” September 7, 2021, marks the Saskatoon Camera Club’s 85th year—a significant milestone! This year our program will combine in-person and online meetings. Our first meeting, September 7th, will be an in-person meeting at Mayfair United Church, 902 33rd Street West. Our rental contract requires us to adhere to Covid-19 Public Health guidelines to ensure we are meeting safely. The following is a list of precautions the Executive is taking to protect the health of all attendees. These precautions will be updated as the Covid-19 situation dictates. We will meet in the sanctuary to allow physical distancing and better air circulation. As per usual, enter through the east door and move directly through the meeting room to the sanctuary. Attendees should NOT attend in-person meetings if any of the following apply: a. If you are experiencing COVID-19 related symptoms (including Fever, Cough, Shortness of Breath/Difficulty Breathing, Sore Throat, Runny Nose). b. If you have returned to Canada from outside the country (including USA) within 14 days of the meeting. c. If you are being tested for COVID-19 or have tested positive for COVID-19 (and have not subsequently been retested and been confirmed not to have COVID-19); or d. If you, or anyone in your household has been in contact with someone you know is being investigated or confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to the scheduled in person meeting date. We trust individuals are doing their best to protect themselves and others by having Covid vaccinations. While masks are currently not mandatory, attendees may wear them if they choose. Please bring your own mask as we cannot provide them. Hand sanitizer will be available for use upon entry into the sanctuary and prior to the coffee break. We are allowed to host a Coffee break during our meeting. Selections will include coffee, tea, and wrapped cookies to reduce handling. Pop beverages are unavailable at this time. Prices: cookies are $0.50 per package; coffee and tea are $0.50. So, the cost of your evening treat will be $1.00. Program brochures will be available on September 7th. They are also available online, at both London Drugs locations, Don’s Photos, and the public libraries throughout the city. Registration will be online. Please fill out the form and submit your payment. There will be no in person registration. Alternate registration is by mail.
